It is gorgeous outside here today (69 degrees!) and I am in the studio painting a winter scene? Call me crazy, but I was really itching to do another version of the farm I posted last week. In this piece the light was hitting right around 5 pm, just when I was picking up my daughter from her after school activities. I really like the contrasts of the warm earth tones and the cool blues. That is winter light.
Now get outside and play!

Now I know that Nancy and I MUST be sisters .... 69 degrees out and sunny today....while I myself worked on a new painting...a winter scene!
I love this one of Nancy's....It is very much from her heart.
