Sketchbook Saturday

"In The Garden"

A mini tour of a few plants and findings in my front garden. Our azalea bushes are looking beautiful this year. Pine needles and acid fertilizer seems to be the trick. And, yesterday I noticed that my iris bulbs are finally going to bloom; I'm so excited! Enjoy your weekend, and get out and sketch!

I just love your sketches!! They are absolutely terrific. you should do several and then put them in a shutterfly book! They are so whimsical and just great, I get so frustrated when I sketch because it does not turn out like that. Just getting caught up on your blog. Your iris is so pretty and love that you were inspired by laundry, that is a definite positive spin on a mundane chore:)

Love the drawings from the garden Nancy. It looks more promising than mine at the moment.
