With the leaves off of the trees, it is amazing all of the birds nests now visible that had been previously hidden from view. While the eggs are long gone, it reminds me of how we tend to "nest" in the warmth of our cozy homes in winter. And maybe because we received our first major snowfall of the season, I'm feeling a lot like nesting. Or at least until the trails are ready for cross-country skiing!
