Hanging on to the last remnants of the warmer days of fall with one more piece from my September Door County trip. This one is also from Cana Island. I loved the various golden colors surrounded by the muted blues and violets. This was painted later in the afternoon as the light was starting its magical transformation to the "Golden Hour."

Don't forget, Playing with Paint is this Saturday at the Hobby Lobby store in Rib Mountain, WI. The class runs from 10 am - 12:30 pm. We will be "playing" around with acrylic paints and creating big sky landscapes. Details are here. Come give it a try. It is waaaay more fun than cleaning the house or running errands.
